Today 16th March

Hiya and welcome to my new blogger page...

I'm a historical re-enacotr, specialising in WWII... My own field of research is US Army rations, some guys love guns, I love rations!!

I do reproduction WWII US Army rations, have been researching this for over 5 years and have a website here.  Go straight to the "shop" page, where you will find repro rations for sale...

At the moment I produce two types of C Rations, one is empty cans that are VERY close to height as the originals, and another set which have actual food items that the ration had, though the tins are slightly taller - Ye just can't get the right tins in todays shops! More information on my website

Today, I've added on the site for sale four evaporated milk cans, which contain actual evaporated milk.. About five years ago, I was going through the US Army specifications for what is called the 10in1 ration, that is one days ration (the "1"part) for ten men (the "10") part, so that means one days ration, or subsistence for ten men...

All of this and more information about WWII US Army rations are on my website
